Recycling

Doing our bit for the environment

We are proud to be the only UK IT Hardware manufacturer to operate its own in-house recycling and refurbishment facility (fully licensed by The Environment Agency).

With the ever increasing need for organisations to become environmentally responsible we strive to provide new and exciting ways across our entire range of end-user devices, our infrastructure services and our ever-evolving software offerings.

In March 2010 we were appointed as a listed supplier on the Commodoitised IT Hardware and Software Framework Agreement from GPS The Government Procurement Service (previously Buying Solutions) and are now the only manufacturer on the framework to operate our own recycling service.

To find out more or if you would like to see our Recycling facility please call our Recycling team on 08448 221122 or email: recycling@stonegroup.co.uk

Creating positive lives through Education

We are proud to be the premier sponsor of IT Schools Africa.

We ensure that recycled or recovered equipment is used to develop IT skills in the Third World.  By recycling your redundant hardware through us you share the accolades of supporting this fantastically deserving charity, making a real difference for underprivileged children in Africa.

Help us to bridge the `digital divide'

We are proud to be a part of two leading UK initiatives aiming to help bridge the digital divide and connect over 9 million or so UK residents that don't currently have access to the internet in this country.

These initiatives include BT's Connected Housing project and Microsoft's Get Connected at Home programme, which also serves as a fulfilment vehicle for Martha Lane Fox's Race Online 2012 project.

These programmes are seen as delivering a vital public service, and as they are focused primarily on refurbished IT hardware they represent the most socially-responsible re-use channels currently available within the UK.

We're the exclusive hardware provider for the BT Connected Social Housing scheme and one of just two endeavouring to supply all of the hardware categories for Microsoft's Get Online at Home scheme.

We need your help!  We want you to join us as Project Partners and commit your end-of-life IT disposals to these programmes.  By donating your unwanted PC technology, you will be helping to sustain a digitally inclusive platform that will enable everyone in the UK to benefit from being part of a connected society.

Depending on the condition and specification of your PC hardware, you may also earn a cash rebate too!
