Our Supported Charities for 2020
In order to make sure the work we do has a real difference, we get our staff to vote on our charities for the year, both local and national.
By concentrating our support on a few specific causes we feel that our fundraising efforts can have a greater impact on the communities our customers and staff live and work in. If you would like either your cause or one of your own supported causes to be considered, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your details.
We also have our international charity, IT Schools Africa, which we have continued to support for the past 10 years.
Alzheimer’s Research UK is the UK’s leading dementia research charity, dedicated to causes, diagnosis, prevention, treatment and cure. The charity funds a broad range of research projects to understand dementia and drive towards better diagnosis, preventions and treatments.
Alzheimer’s Research UK believe in the power of research to change the future. Their mission is to bring about the first life-changing dementia treatment by 2025, to achieve their vision of a world where people are free from the fear, harm and heartbreak of dementia.
IT Schools Africa
Stone have been supporting IT Schools Africa, a charitable organisation who are transforming lives through access to e-Learning, for almost 10 years now.
By recycling your redundant IT hardware through us you too are supporting this exceptionally deserving charity which is making a real difference for underprivileged children in Africa. To reflect this we can issue Certificates of Appreciation and you can display these with pride as recognition of the role you’ve played in the project.
me&dee charity is a registered charity formed to create special moments and memories for both children and adults who have a life threatening, life shortening or terminal conditions.

Poppy Fields Appeal
Poppy Fields Appeal began after Brian’s eldest daughter, Poppy, was diagnosed with a brain tumour at just 14 months old in 2004, and has been fighting it ever since.
All of the funds raised through Poppy Fields, is donated to Brain Tumour Research at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, where Poppy has received her much needed care.
Poppy Fields take part in a number of events to raise donations, and Stone are happy to support the fantastic work made by the Poppy Fields team.
