We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve been awarded the 4 year contract for the provision of the Association of Greater Manchester Authorities (AGMA) ICT Asset Lifecycle Services Framework.
The Agreement, which was put together by Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council, is split into 3 lots and we’re delighted to have been successful on all three:
- Lot 1 – Re-marketing
- Lot 2 – Re-deploy
- Lot 3 – Disposal
We’re one of only 3 suppliers to have been shortlisted and selected as part of the framework for the secure removal and ethical disposal of redundant ICT equipment from various locations through participating Authorities within the Greater Manchester region.
The AGMA framework is open to all public sector bodies within the North West of England. As it currently stands we’ll be providing our service to a minimum of 18 councils in and around the Greater Manchester region, with the expectation of this rising to well over 30 as more public sector organisations join the framework.
This incredible win comes after a thorough tender process, spanning over 12 months, and a full audit of our on-site IT recycling facility. The audit was conducted by 3 representatives from AGMA who were extremely impressed with our recycling centre, processing and security measures we have in place for secure IT asset disposal.
Our Operations Director, Gary Buxton, explains: “Being selected as a supplier on this framework is a fantastic achievement for us.
“Due to the ever-changing marketplace and the need for a more secure approach to IT asset disposal within the public sector, it’s immensely gratifying that our efforts to deliver this level of service has been recognised and awarded.
“The fact that we can now help several public sector organisations, within the Greater Manchester region, remain compliant with their approach to ICT recycling and help with the disposal of redundant ICT equipment through the AGMA framework underlines our status as a highly accredited and trusted recycling partner for any organisation in the UK.”
