We’re excited to reveal our partnership with LEGO® Education, which will see us providing exclusive learning bundles comprising of Stone devices and LEGO® Education curriculum resources.

The LEGO® Education portfolio includes WeDo 2.0 – an education resource developed for primary school pupils as an introduction to Science and Computing using robotics. By connecting with the WeDo 2.0 app on the schools’ iPads, Chromebooks and other devices, pupils can work to the KS2 Computing curriculum in a way that is fun and exciting.

The portfolio also includes LEGO® MINDSTORMS Education EV3, a similar concept for Key Stages 3 and 4, which lets pupils build, program and test their models using real robotics technology, covering the curriculum subjects of Science, D&T, Maths and Computing.

As part of this partnership we’ll be supplying a range of devices that are optimised for the WeDo 2.0 and LEGO® MINDSTORMS Education EV3.

Matt Parkes at LEGO® Education said: “In partnering with Stone, LEGO® Education can provide UK schools and colleges with the best possible device experience across our range of products. We’re excited to be able to augment our educational resources and software with devices that have been shown in tests to offer a great experience for teachers and students alike.”

Simon Harbridge, CEO at Stone comments: “We’re delighted to partner with such a creative and leading edge brand. LEGO® Education is addressing curricular needs with real flair, in a way that engages the imagination and creativity of the children. Given LEGO® Education’s excellence as an educational resources and content provider, and our position as a leading supplier of the IT devices through which the content is served, the partnership makes perfect sense. We look forward to continuing our work to educate the customer base, shape the discussion and ensure devices, resources and content continue to work congruently to optimise education.

“The LEGO® Education portfolio is available for PC, Mac, tablets and Chromebook. As a Microsoft Gold Partner, Google Education Partner and Apple Authorised Reseller, we are able to source the full range of devices schools could use with the LEGO® Education software.”
