We’re happy to announce that we’ve joined an exclusive handful of members in being ADISA certified at the highest possible level.

With a total score of over 95%, we have now achieved the ‘Distinction with Honours’ level of ADISA’s IT Asset Disposal Standards.

Martin Ruston, our Risk and Compliance Manager, comments, “We’re extremely pleased to receive this recognition, having long supported the ADISA standard and the merits of utilising ADISA certified Recycling partners. Certification at this level reflects the dedication of Stone staff in maintaining reliable and assured services to our clients.”

The multi-layered audit process involves full audits by ADISA auditors, unannounced operational audits, as well as unannounced forensic audits.

In combination with our existing certifications – ISO9001, 14001, 27001, 22301, BS8900, CHAS and DIPCOG – such an extensive evaluation of our data processing and destruction capabilities will assure our customers of the high quality of our recycling services.

“Due to the ever-changing marketplace in the IT asset disposal sector, it remains an integral criterion for us to develop our recycling processes in line with data protection requirements.

“It is therefore immensely gratifying that our efforts to deliver secure IT asset disposal have gained much-deserved recognition, and that the external audit to the ADISA standard has resulted in the highest possible award. The entire workforce should be highly commended.”
