We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve recently been awarded a place with Intel® on the Servers, Storage and Solutions National Agreement (SSSNA) framework.

The SSSNA is a framework that covers the provision of servers, storage and solutions, including converged infrastructure and end to end solutions.  The purpose of the SSSNA framework is to deliver an efficient and compliant route to market for Higher Education (HE) institutions, by minimising the resource and providing value for money. The framework directly helps universities by reducing the buying cycle and increasing the speed of infrastructure deployments that information services and research particularly depend on.

As one of only a handful of suppliers on the agreement, we’re here to help you achieve all your requirements when it comes to your data centre strategy. Alongside this, we continue to be a key partner with Intel® meaning that we have access to all the latest tech solutions, making it easier for you to implement new platforms to help drive innovation and user experiences.

Our strategic partnership with Intel® on the SSSNA agreement means that you’ll get access to the latest server and data centre technology solutions, such as Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors, Intel® Optane™ memory and much more. With our server solutions being packed with these Intel® components you can configure your server to the exact requirements of your institution.

In an educational environment that demands an increase in compute, memory and storage capabilities within your existing server systems – Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors will support your changing and growing workloads.  And due to our close partnership with Intel® on the SSSNA framework, all you need to do is simply upgrade your existing server infrastructure and transition over to a new platform.

Speaking about this strategic partnership and the SSSNA framework, Simon Harbridge, CEO at Stone explains,

“We’re absolutely delighted to be partnered with Intel on the Servers, Storage and Solutions National Agreement. We’ve been a key partner with Intel® for over 20 years, so to have been awarded a place with them on the framework is an incredible achievement for us.

“We work with a range of universities across the UK and the fact that we can now further support these institutions, helping meet the demands and requirements placed on them in terms of infrastructure and providing the best platform for students is a real achievement for us.”
