Through the lens of education, we discuss where Microsoft believe tech will be in the future, and how it will inform and shape how we teach and learn.
E-safety is a hot topic for many schools. We want to help alleviate some of the stresses and strains involved with ensuring students stay safe online. Our e-safety toolkit is a helpful list of resources and tips to help you prepare pupils for the realities of the virtual world.
With e-safety and security in mind, we spoke to cyber security champion Jay Abbott about the skills gap in IT, and more specifically within ‘cyber’. New threats, vulnerabilities, problems and attacks are being discovered every day, and it’s vital that young people are equipped with the right tools to meet these challenges and shorten the skills gap. Jay tells us about how you can help your students develop the skills and experience they need through the Cyber Security Challenge.
And with learning continuing to grow beyond the classroom in new and exciting ways, we take a look at how blogging could help your class collaborate, share ideas, and even improve their writing skills.
