Numeric Keypads

A lot of keyboards - especially on laptops - don’t include a numeric keypad (also known as a numpad or ten-key). Most of the time, for most people this is absolutely fine. But if you do a lot of numerical data entry work then it can be a bit of a problem. Inputting numbers with a numeric keypad is much more efficient than using the number row on top of the keyboard.

Numeric Keypads

That’s where additional numeric keypads come in - they offer the best of both worlds. You’ll still keep the compact portability of your laptop or compact keyboard, but you can place a numpad exactly where you want it, on either side of your keyboard. They can also be great for gaming, with perfectly spaced keys (whose idea was WASD anyway?) and the ability to place the keypad wherever you like in relation to your mouse.
