Overview
The Lindy Flexible Video Wall Scaler is a powerful solution that takes creative video wall production to a new level. Pre-defined video wall modes, cascaded and OSD operation provides a variety of options for regular, portrait and irregular video walls.¦This flexible, feature rich product has been developed for use in installations which require maximum impact, such as retail, advertising and hospitality. Multiple regular and irregular video wall presets and 5 adjustable user modes means the Scaler can deliver a choice of stunning, creative video wall layouts.¦The Scaler supports input resolutions up to 3840x2160 @30Hz and output resolutions of 1920x1080 @60Hz to each display. Featuring HDMI, DisplayPort and DVI-I inputs and HDMI outputs, the Scaler can be combined with Lindy's comprehensive range of Extenders to provide additional flexibility, allowing installation next to either source or display equipment as required.¦For maximum impact, multiple Scalers can be cascaded to create larger video wall installations of up to 40 displays, with the option to combine multiple layouts for ultimate versatility.¦To provide the best possible imaging, no matter how a video wall is configured, the Scaler features numerous additional features¦The input signal can be zoomed in and out so that it is either larger than the video wall, cutting off unused sections of the input video, or is made smaller than the video wall, which only displays the image on a single part of the video wall.¦The displayed image for each monitor can be rotated 90/180/270 degrees to accommodate landscape, portrait, and upside-down displays.¦Input signals can be adjusted to compensate for environmental influences, such as exposure/light incidence, with manual controls for color saturation, color matching, gamma, brightness, contrast, and sharpness.¦To prevent display burn-in caused by static picture elements, auto image shift allows users to subtly change the positions of image content¦Interruption of content by display frames often leads to disjointed images that are not continuous across all displays. Bezel correction hides part of the image behind the display bezel so that the bezel appears to be part of the image, producing a continuous image across all displays.¦Using the supplied software, custom video walls can be created from bespoke designs by simply photographing the video wall layout and plotting coordinates on a PC. Multiple custom video wall configurations can be saved to the Scaler, whilst the option to loop up to 10 of these configurations together can be used to create different visual effects.
